On July 7, 2013, the Ganzi Prefecture Tourism Promotion Conference was held at the Guangzhou Friendship Theatre with approximately 1,000 attendees. Leaders from the CPC Ganzi Prefecture Committee, Ganzi Prefecture People's Government, and Guangzhou government were present. The event featured a special cultural performance from Ganzi Tibetan Area, enhanced by lighting, sound, and LED equipment.
